Ability to quickly switch signatures.

I send messages from one email address using multiple signatures (e.g. private, work, and club or association). It would be a great convenience if you could choose a signature when creating a message.

Postbox has this functionality well designed.

Signature list is edited/managed separately.

And can be choose for each identity as preferred signature.

In compose window you can easily override signature from list.

I also think it would be very useful to have an easy way to select a signature while writing a new email. Ideally, there would be a dropdown menu in the toolbar of the new mail window containing previously saved signatures, allowing users to quickly choose one. It would also be helpful to have the option to edit the selected signature directly from there.
