An example in my own shameless plugbug -- https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1774852
I mark the exact URL/URI for "watching" (potentially it could simply watch your bookmarks!) and it provides some UI/UX format for notifications of said changes (and in the example above, updates).
"Hey, your <url/forum/bug report/whatever> was updated/changed! Click here to view that."
