A consistent way to display column choices and view settings across accounts (Thunderbird)

If you customize columns in the list of emails for a specific account (and within an account individual folders, such as inbox, sent, etc) that remains specific to that. So if your preference in the ways columns are displayed and ordered is consistent across folders and accounts, you manually have to do it for each of them. Of course it's even worse if you use TB on multiple computers as you have to do that all over again. Saving the format of the columns to display as part of your profile would be quite helpful.

I have about nine mailboxes and see very little reason to have different column layouts for all of them. The option Apply columns to... therefor has the option  "all mail folders"  to set the layout to all current and future mail folders.

"Apply" to an entire account is possible with current versions for both column choices and view settings (sort, etc). 

But there may some bugs in applying view settings?  Does anyone agree?

And still not possible to apply to multiple accounts.
