Will manifest v3 add-ons have an 'always grant permission for all sites' option?

Hello, and apologies in advance if this is the wrong place to ask this question.

I know that in manifest v3 Firefox users will have the ability to choose which individual sites an add-on has permission to run on.

what I can't seem to find an answer to is the following.

Will Firefox give the user some sort of 'always allow this add-on to run on any site without first seeking permission for that site' option?

Or will the user be required to manually approve permissions for every individual site they visit?

Does anyone know? Thanks.

superuser, thank you, and that's a relief.

The way I have heard permissions being talked about it sounded as if manually approving them on a site by site basis would be mandatory in manifest v3.

So pleased to see that there is scope for a pre-emptive 'always allow' option, as I would not want to have to manually enable several add-ons for each and every new site I visit while web surfing.

Thanks again.
