Like most people, I have hundreds of bookmarked pages by now --- to the point where they have become almost useless. I would be better served if they were "upvotes": whenever I search for a subject on the web, if one of the search results is pointing to one of my bookmarked pages, I would love this search result to appear first or to be specially highlighted --- in yellow background, for example.
If the search results are not fully available to the browser engine before rendering the results, an automatic search of the cached bookmarked content would be a decent alternative.
