Oh look yet another crap pathetic feature added to Firefox in tab groups.
Just came across it for the first time now and what total garbage.
Mozilla really do seem hell bent on destroying Firefox don't they?
I like my tabs in plain view where I can seem them not hidden behind one anoher.
To turn off this latest crap from Firefox do this:
In address bar type about:config
Click accept the risk and continue
In the search preference bar type tabs.group
When the list comes up double click all of them from true to false.
Everytime Mozilla have added some crap to Firefox I am doing this.
So far I have turned off sidebar, pockets, screengrab, tab groups and many many others.

Imagine liking all the utter crap Mozilla shoves down our throats SMH!
Having tabs seperate is far superior than grouping them together.
Here read this: https://mercurie.blogspot.com/2025/05/how-to-disable-tab-groups-on-firefox.html
According to that article I am far from alone in not wanting this latest pathetic feature and sick to death of Mozillas take it, like it and lump it attitude of forcing crap down our throats without any easy way of disabling them and only being able to disable them by going into about:config.

The new automatic tab groups is not effective for my work. Keep it for those who like it, but make it a permanent off/off setting in general - not in config. Thank you.
