I have firefox (FF) 98.0.2 running on my mojave system and have at least two updates that have NOT changed the version still says 98.0.2.
also why do the updates NEVER tell you when it's finished downloading or ask you to restart (now/later) when downloaded & installed? seems like you want to install in secret - so much for transparency then!
