Thunderbird Pro/Thundermail pricing tiers

I am very excited about Thunderbird Pro/Thundermail!

I am wondering if there is any more pricing info announced or that can be shared, info about which tiers/plans that will be offered?

I just heard in the This Week in Linux podcast that there are plans for a free tier, which is great to hear! Any details on that?

I would love to see:

- Unlimited aliases like Startmail and Fastmail have. I think this is an essential privacy feature!

- POP3

- A free tier that isn't overly restricted, 1GB storage, ~1 address
- A (~$1-$3/m) lite tier with a small/modest amount storage (1-2GB), no Appointment or Send etc, but unlimited aliases or at least ~100
- A (~$5/m) standard tier with decent storage and all the things like Appointment and Send, unlimited aliases etc
- A (~$7-$10/m) Pro tier with more storage and all the things like Appointment and Send, unlimited aliases etc

Thanks. I was happy to find a forum just for Thunderbird Pro...I have wanted to add my two cents on the pricing and tiers forever.

Re my other questions...is there anything you can share on if there will be a free tier and more affordable plans/tiers as well?

And if not...any idea when we will get news on the planned tiers?

There is no additional information about pricing at this time, nor is it known when it might become available.

Ok. I thought so. Thanks for replying.

Is it true though that there will be a free plan?
