thunderbird calendar columns for dates do not adjust in width

Making moves

I am on Thunderbird 128.6.0esr (64-bit)

This post is copy of an earlier post:

It does not have contain a solution.
Here is the original post:
When I display the calendar in weekly view, the columns for the dates do not adjust in width to the width of the window. The widths of the columns are constant. I can only see half of the column for Sunday which is the last column to the right. The right half of Sunday falls outside of the window. When I make the window smaller even more of the calendar falls outside of the window.

My additions:
I have the same problem.  Per other posts, I tried to drag the columns but nothing happens.
Nor could I find the any "column width: extensions that are mention in other posts.

I had the same issue and I got it resolved.

The issue for me was the "Find Events Pane" (see screenshot). If I'd disable it all was fine.

Since I find the Events Pane quite useful, I further checked and playing around with the columns (adding, removing, resizing - see other screenshot) and I was able to adjust it in a way, that all the calendar columns became visible.

hope this helps.

P.S.: if everything is so big, that you cannot see the icons to click on, make the window as wide as needed. From what I could see, the width in the "Find Events Pane" is big, yes, but it doesn't grow when resizing
