Thunderbird Agenda : impossible to move events with mouse

Hello everyone,

Since 10/04/2024 it's impossible to move Thunderbird Agenda events with my mouse.

I can still select an event with left mouse click, it becomes blue, but clicking, holding left button, to move and drop the event on another day doesn't move the selected event.

I can still move events with the right mouse menu options (Copy or Cut and Paste) or by shortcuts CTRL + C (or CTRL + X) and CTRL + V.

Am I the only one, is it a bug or an intended modification?

I think moving events with the left mouse button (in the same screen) is quicker.

I'm having this problem too...with moving both tasks and events in Thunderbird calendar. I cannot drag and drop or cut and paste recurring tasks or events. Oddly, I can cut and paste non-recurring tasks, but not drag and drop them. If I copy a recurring task and try to paste it into an new date, it pastes a second copy of the task into the original date box. The only way I can move a recurring task is to make a new task with the same information in the new date box, and then delete the old recurring task.

Thanks for your feedback.

Since today 2024/10/17 and version 128.3.2esr (64 bits), the bug is fixed and it's even better than before because previously (before the big bug) I needed to click on an event "for nothing" then click again to move an event and then it worked for next events, but now I can click and move an event immediately after Thunderbird's start.

Thanks a lot for people working and fixing Thunderbird, I'm using only the agenda but it's super practical and bring consistency into my life and I enjoy using it 🐵

You are facing an issue with dragging and dropping events in Thunderbird Agenda. This could be a bug or an unintentional change. You might want to check the Thunderbird forums or report the issue to their support team. In the meantime, using the right-click menu or keyboard shortcuts is a good workaround. I hope this gets resolved soon!
