The Unified Extensions manager should be optional

Making moves

I understand that any browser needs to experiment with new UI. I was fine when I could just go into about:config and disable this "feature". But now, I just installed 112 and I'm stuck with all of my extension buttons, which I want on my toolbar where they belong, hidden behind this ugly puzzle piece icon that tells the user NOTHING about what it actually does. It's bad UX, it's inconvenient, and the fact that it isn't even optional anymore is extremely irritating. I've tried to stick with Firefox all these years because I like the browser and I think it's important to have non-Chrome alternatives, but this is making it difficult for me to continue justifying the use of this software.
