Making moves
Dear Mozilla Team,

I am outraged by the recent changes to your Terms of Use, specifically the following statement:

“When you upload or input information through Firefox, you hereby grant us a nonexclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use that information.”

As Mozilla shifts towards becoming an advertising company, this clause raises serious concerns about privacy and trust. Mozilla has long been recognized for its commitment to user privacy and transparency, but these changes directly undermine those values.

I demand an immediate retraction of this clause and a formal apology. Mozilla must return to its original stance on privacy and ensure that user data is protected above all else. Your actions must reflect the values of trust, security, and user autonomy that initially made Firefox a respected platform.

I expect a swift response outlining how Mozilla plans to address these issues and realign with its core principles.

Sincerely,
Jim
