Stop restoring tabs from previous session

Firefox on Android currently resotes tabs from the previous session - unless you select Quit for the menu (which is actually several steps...)

Since there is already an option in the settings, to choose when Firefox will close the tabs automatically, users should have an additional option:

  • Custom period (users can define their own period. Example: 1 min, 20 minutes, etc.)

This ways all user bases are covered, the ones that want their tabs restored, and the ones that don't really need that functionality and the ones that don't need their tabs remembered for longer periods of time but need a shorter period.

Most of the users won't use the quit option from the menu, as you need to click on 3 dots, then scroll down and then click on quit - too many steps.

It's far quicker and easier to swipe the app away, but then you're stuck with the tabs from the previous session.

I understand that Firefox doesn't know if the user killed the app or the system, with custom period all scenarios are covered as users have full control.
