100%, everything you said. I don't know if it's updates or something in the general software coding, but things I've disabled keep being turned back on without my approval. Widgets on the homepage, Sponsored Shortcuts, the left-hand Side Bar, to name a few. I really wish FF would respect the preferences I've chosen for myself and not force me to keep wasting my time disabling this nuisance additions all the time.
