- Firefox version: 153.0 (64-bit), confirmed fully up-to-date via the "About Firefox" page
- No newly installed extensions before the issue occurs
Bug Phenomenon
When I select text on webpages (tested on Bing search page and Zhihu page), then right-click to bring up the context menu:
- The outer popup frame of the right-click menu displays normally;
- All internal menu item content is completely blank, no option text is shown (refer to attached screenshots);
- Menu functionality still works: hovering over invisible positions of menu items can trigger corresponding operations like Bing search, translation, QR code generation, SingleFile export; only text rendering fails inside the context menu;
- Normal webpage content rendering, top navigation bar and other UI parts of Firefox work perfectly, this rendering defect only exists in right-click context menus.
Reproduction Steps
- Open Firefox 153.0, load any common webpage (Bing search, Zhihu etc.);
- Drag mouse to select a segment of text on the page;
- Right-click the selected text to open the context menu;
- Observe that all menu entries inside the popup window are blank.
Expected Behavior
All right-click menu item text should render normally inside the context menu frame.
Additional Notes
This issue appears randomly during daily browsing. Restarting Firefox can temporarily resolve the bug, but it will reappear after a period of browsing. No system-level UI rendering anomalies occur outside Firefox, so this is exclusive to Firefox's context menu rendering module. I have attached screenshots showing blank menus on two different websites for reference.
