Quick access to the history of the current tab in Firefox Android

A recent update of Firefox Beta on Android changed the behavior of the configurable button on the address bar: Tapping and holding it now displays a popup menu with an "edit Shortcut" option.

This may help with discoverability of being able to configure this button, but on the other side disrupts how I used it when it came out: As a makeshift "Forward" button. When it first appeared and I tested the configurable button, I noticed that setting it to be a back button enabled me to quickly open the history for the current tab by tapping and holding. It behaved exactly like the back button in the menu, which was great, since this way, I could use it as a forward button that only worked when the back button wasn't greyed out.

Using it that way made me appreciate being able to quickly access the history of the current tab.

It would be pretty great if "history of the current tab" was either added as an option to the customizable address bar button or, if the tap and hold to bring up the history of the current tab functionality was restored to the back shortcut on said button. This change would improve navigation in Firefox Android by making it snappier.
