Before the recent update as soon as you type in the search bar a popup instantly shows up with search engines you can click on as an option. Can that be added back?
Previously I would either type and hit enter for default search engine or type and then choose one of the search engines in the pop up menu and both only required two actions. The current UI requires I type, click on the drop down menu that shows the search engines, click on the search engine, and then I still have to press enter or click on the right arrow. That is four actions if I don't want to use the default search engine as opposed to two actions before the update.
This UI change is similar to how the Firefox Mobile browser was changed. Before the search engines were above the keyboard and I would just pick one. Now the search engines are hidden in a menu up at the very top of the screen. It was much more convenient before the change.
