Notifications in dark mode? Why?

I don't know whose choice it was to change notifications from black-on-white to white-on-black in the most recent Firefox update when I'm not using a dark mode theme, but it looks wrong and is hard to read and I don't like it and want it back the way it was.

Ah, interesting: I just figured out that Firefox isn't sending the notifications itself anymore—it's passing the notifications to Windows 10, and Windows is displaying the notifications using its own theme rather than Firefox's.

Weird choice. Still don't like it.
