I am pretty excited about the new options a vertical tab bar presents, and I'd like to see it develop more with future updates. At the moment, it could use some user customization like the horizontal bar has. For one thing, I really don't like that it stays on the screen when I'm trying to watch a video in fullscreen. That alone makes it near unusable for me. But also I'd like to be able to rearrange things, and I'd especially like to remove the AI and shortcut options that I'm not going to use.
Either way, I like the proof of concept, and I appreciate the work that the developers do, I just want to put in my thoughts

This is a test feature in the pre-Beta test "Nightly" version only. You can install that alongside a regular version if you like. For more information, see:

Maybe @Sdnimm543 can tell us this.

I had downloaded it from the ftp server. It was a larch build. I had previously used the link https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/nightly/latest-larch/
but that doesn't seem to go anywhere now. Not sure if they took it down or something.

There's a flag in about:config called sidebar.revamp you can set to true, but I saw somewhere it only enables the vertical tabs in a specific build which I haven't been able to try since there's no Flatpak for developer or nightly editions and i'm on Fedora silverblue.
Also, does this need to be a separate discussion or should it be merged with either the idea:

Or the announcement thread:
