Firefox has very confusing new on boarding process.
User wants to sync firefox with mobile browser. The QR code is provided, scans QR code with firefox mobile and it turns to he a download link. Confusing. Goes next, register, gets correct QR code. Scans it with firefox mobile embedded scanner and gets a page "You should use system qr code scanner" (from memory). User is confused even more, looking for something in firefox mobile settings several minutes. Finds "login to sync".
This process could be streamlined. At least guide should help user to register sync account and provide clear instruction how to connect firefox mobile. I would fix QR code scanner in url panel so when scanning the sync QR code it would accept it the same way as "Sign in to Sync"
To make clear: 1. Download Mobile Firefox 2. Register or Login to sync account 3. Scan QR code to sync browsers from Mobile Firefox (both ways to work, or give instructions to select "Login to Sync" if user used wrong scanner)
