Microsoft Teams not working in the firefox mobile browser

I recently had a job interview held via Microsoft Teams. 

I'm a primary Firefox user and ditched the Chromium browsers. 

So I tap the link in my email to join the conversation. I log in. And next Microsoft Teams tells me that Firefox isn't supported to use Microsoft Teams with. 

So after a while. The interviewers canceled the interview and I lost out on the position. 

If it didn't include high stakes I would've waved it away. But I lost access to a potential new job because of this. 

Can someone give me insight on any developments or potential fixes to prevent losing interviews in the future?

Microsoft Teams often doesn’t work properly in the Firefox mobile browser because the Teams web app isn’t fully supported there yet. Many users report that clicking a “Join meeting” link in Firefox for Android doesn’t open the Teams app or the meeting, while it works normally in Chrome or Edge this is due to lack of official support rather than a simple bug.
