Make Firefox work for PG&E, Social Security, IRS, and other important web sites

I've been using Firefox for years but now it seems to be broken for the PG&E, Social Security, IRS, and other important government and other web sites. Please fix it! I have Firefox set to my default browser and have for years because I really like it, but I am close to making my default browser Chrome, which works for all of these sites.

Thank you.

I've used Firefox as my default browser for many years.  I'm about to change to Chrome. I don't want to, but with all the important sites that don't work with Firefox, there isn't much of a choice.  It is a real shame and I should probably try some alternatives to Chrome, but I just don't want to continually chase problems.  I just got through dealing with Medicare Part D and had to move to Chrome.  I just used Copilot to find the usage numbers for browsers.  Here is what Copilot said:

  • Google Chrome: 65.72%
  • Safari: 18.22%
  • Microsoft Edge: 5.31%
  • Mozilla Firefox: 2.71%
  • Samsung Internet: 2.4%
  • Opera: 2.26%
