Outlook has shared mailboxes, which are handy for enabling several people to reply to emails e.g. when someone is away.
I added the shared mailbox to Thunderbird, and it works fine, except that we need to regularly re-authenticate, and that is done with your normal/personal email address and password, not the shared address. I can't see a way to get Thunderbird to remember to use a different email address for authentication to the mailbox email address. Is there something I am missing?
