i just want to share some settings that help me reduce the high ram problem on firefox and made me return to use the browser after the fix, for context i have a low budget laptop here in brazil, witch is a ryzen 7 5700u, ddr4 8gb of ram (believe me when i say "low budget" but the current price is not cheap here) but anyway, i found this page "https://gist.github.com/RubenKelevra/fd66c2f856d703260ecdf0379c4f59db" on the internet, some settings are depreciated but these specific settings here " dom.ipc.processCount=1 and dom.ipc.processCount.webIsolated=1" helped me to fix the high ram that was frustrating me, after the change the browser runs much better, so if possible mozilla can make this by default will be awesome, for context the only extension that i used that was listed in the page was ublock origin, but i was already using before i found the page, just want to help people that have the same problem as i was having thank so much guys
