Hi, that's beautiful

I have a question: will there be a new Firefox browser icon and a new logo?
Thank you

The latest logo is already very nice, it feels unneccessary to make a new one. But a new browser icon of kit is very much neccessaryyy.. 😍😍 and for the pc too.

And would it be nice to have kit wallpaper that can move around like in that landing page. A new moving animate wallpaper.

I was wondering what that new wallpaper was doing 😄

Kit is very cute! I saw the new wallpapers are available on desktop, will mobile (android) get some new wallpapers featuring Kit too?

I know a lot of people might not want this (and that's fine); but oh my god, I want Kit to be interactive! X3

I wanna be able to scritch their ears, feed them cookies (whether they're internet or chocolate chip is up for debate) and just... have them be an adorable scritchy, smooshy fren :3

Kit is absolutely adorable! 😍 I love the idea of interactive wallpapers too—scritching their ears or feeding them cookies sounds super fun. It would make Firefox feel even more alive and personal. Can’t wait to see what other Kit-themed surprises are coming!

Hi Jon! 👋 Love the new mascot, Kit! The design feels fun and approachable, and it’s exciting to see Firefox embracing a fresh, playful identity. Can’t wait to check out the wallpaper and Kit-themed swag. It’s great to see the community getting a first look — thanks for sharing! 🦊

What a refreshing update! Kit feels like the perfect symbol for Firefox - approachable, curious, and full of energy. Great work, Mozilla team!

Is the image just a symbol or does it represent the characteristics of an animal?

I'm not a fan of the newer designs, the vaguely fox shaped gradients certainly are not my thing and thanks to the Linux magic I'm using the classic icon. But it doesn't hurt the UX and doesn't use up development resources so I'm not complaining too much

... Well, why something so vague and even further removed from a real fox? Where is the mouth? Why are there jowls on the sides? There is no snout.

... Bof, pourquoi un truc aussi flou et encore plus éloigné d'un vrai renard ? où est la bouche ? Pourquoi ces bajoues latérales ? le museau est inexistant.

Very cute mascot. When will we be able to use new Kit wallpapers in iOS app?

Hi Jon, thanks for the update on the cute new fellow 😊

I immediately ordered the new shirt (and an ugly Christmas sweater) from the Mozilla merch store and unfortunately, I need to give some negative feedback in the hopes that it reaches the right ear.

Long story short, immediately upon arrival I decided to return both items. The Spreadshirt print quality is really bad. Not only does it look like it will come off rather quickly, some parts of Kit are already missing pieces of paint. I love the idea of Mozilla and Firefox merch and I've been a user and fan since my first encounter with Firefox v1.0 but the quality from spreadshirt is neither worth the money nor a good representation of the quality work Mozilla does.

My suggestion, talk to the people over at gametee how they make their shirts. Their quality is absolutely amazing. I own this shirt below among others and the print quality still holds true after many years and lots of wearing / washing.

Thanks for you hard work!
