Nope. I have tried many times! Not work!
You really don't get a new tab page when u launch your Firefox??? Hmm

What page do you want to see when you open FF?

@siffemcon
I just want to see my pinned tab page when Firefox starts—but every time it also opens a useless new tab that I have to close.
Thank you.

Go to FF Settings > Home > select Custom URLs from the drop-down menu > put in the URL of your pinned tab.

You can use New Tab Override (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/new-tab-override) to set  the URL for new tabs.

Actually I have tried this setting.
It does this:
My pinned page1,2,..., a new tab page (whatever page it is, URLs or blank tab, if I set my pinned tab, it still opens the same page! So stupid.)
But I want this:
My pinned page1,2,..., NO any other new tab page opened when I start firefox

Unpin all tabs with FF Settings > Home > select Custom URLs from the drop-down menu set to the URL of the tab you want opened at start. Then pin the other tabs you want pinned.

I want only pinned tabs and no any unpinned tabs while launching FF.
Still thank you.
