Hi everyone. Today we published a roadmap for Firefox. Now you can see what the team is actively working on across desktop and mobile. You can find it at https://www.firefox.com/whatsnext/
Firefox has always been built in the open, but we know it can sometimes be hard to separate roadmap reality from speculation, leaked code discoveries, or incomplete context. Our goal is to give you all a clear view into where Firefox is headed.
Here are a few highlights from the roadmap:
We’re hosting an AMA on r/firefox with a few folks from Firefox leadership on June 24th at 12pm ET (9am PT) to answer any questions you have about the roadmap and hear about what you’d like to see Firefox build next. Or, share your ideas below!

I hope that the shortcut will only keep my favorite URLs, rather than include URLs that I have visited, because this will leak my privacy. I hope that I can add shortcuts one by one and not automatically add the websites I have visited as shortcut fan's.

I really don't know where to put this comment, but as much as I appreciate all the hard work that goes into this program I want to know why so many updates, it seems like every 2nd day firefox is asking me to update, It would be nice to know what is a necessary update (security wise) and what's not. And if I was going to suggest anything it would be about the image that comes up when I open the program, I'm not the least bit interested in soccer (although lots are) would be nice to be able to change the picture. With respect, Cheers everyone.

Can you please bring back the hex color input for custom colors, rgb is very annoying as you would have to cut and paste 3 fields from one install to another when replicating settings.
Also the many instances of input text fields such as textarea disrespect the custom color setting such as white text on black background. This wasnt broken a few years ago then suddenly it was, then never returned to previous function.
