Firefox Print Header Changes With Update

rickg916
Making moves

Is this a bug or a feature? Either way, it's a royal pain that every update undoes the my settings in the configuration for the header. I prefer to just have a centered URL, no page title, etc. YET every update to Firefox removes that setting. If I don't catch it in the Print Preview, the URL probably runs off the right-hand margin.

Can all future updates just leave the configuration alone? Unless there is some NEW feature that needs addition. Thank you.

The Clear saved print settings button in this section allows you to reset all modified print preferences. This might help fix printing problems in Firefox.

How are you setting the headers?

If you are going into about:config, you may have noticed that there are general settings (such as print.print_headercenter) and also printer-specific settings (such as print.printer_Mozilla_Save_to_PDF.print_headercenter). It would be helpful if you could keep track of which ones are reset and which ones aren't after your next update.
