This is what Task Manager reports when I have a single session open in Edge:
And this is what Task Manager reports when I have two sessions open in Firefox and then open two sessions in Edge:
So Edge takes just 71.5 MB to support two web sessions whilst Firefox grabs all of 895.8 MB - more than ten times as much. THIS IS UTTERLY RIDICULOUS.
I still have a W10 desktop PC and limited RAM.
Please fix this nonsense or I am gone.
