Firefox keeps asking to add live.outlook.com as a mailto application

With the recent update to 128.3.1esr (64-bit), Firefox shows a banner on hotmail/outlook sites asking if we want to make outlook a mailto application.  Thunderbird is configured as the default application for mailto in the Firefox settings.  Turning off network.protocol-handler.external.mailto in the config removes the prompt, but also breaks the launching of Thunderbird for mailto links.  This may be a bug in 128.3.1esr?

There are many posts about this all over the internet I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY ARE TAKING SO LONG TO FIX THIS ISSUE!

The popup about email handlers is very annoying and needs to be fixed. Once you set what you want you should NEVER BE ASKED AGAIN!

The way it currently is it asks every time you go to the website! Its very annoying!
