Firefox Feature Request to add option in "Create New Login " to generate brand-new secure password

Feature Request for Firefox:  We the users want Firefox to add an option to "generate a brand new securely generated password on demand" at the point of filling-in-the-blanks of the “Create New Login” function within “Logins & Passwords”.  This would be a useful and logical addition.  Do we need to start a petition?  If yes, how can we initiate a petition?
