Seit 30 Jahren bin ich ein treuer Mozilla-Nutzer und habe das Projekt immer unterstützt, auch mit Spenden. Doch in letzter Zeit empfinde ich die Entwicklung von Firefox als Desaster. Früher galt das Motto "weniger ist mehr", doch das scheint bei Firefox nicht mehr der Fall zu sein.
Ich habe seit einer Woche versucht, Fehler in meinem Firefox zu beheben, ohne Erfolg. Die Synchronisierung der Daten in der Cloud macht es schwer, die Probleme zu lösen. Selbst wenn ich den Browser zurücksetze, tauchen dieselben Fehler wieder auf. Ich habe kein Interesse daran, ständig Fehleranalysen durchzuführen oder Artikel zu schreiben.
Früher konnte man Probleme selbst beheben, indem man Add-ons entfernte oder eine Analyse durchführte. Heute ist das nicht mehr möglich. Die Fehler sind schwer zu finden und es ist zeitaufwendig, sie zu beheben. Firefox ist langsamer geworden und funktioniert schlechter als je zuvor. Das ganze läuft auf allen Systemen gleich.
Ich habe mich entschieden, zu Vivaldi zu wechseln, da Firefox mittlerweile ein Ärgernis für mich ist. Ich bin ein Freund von Open-Source-Projekten, aber was Mozilla in letzter Zeit macht, ist schwer nachvollziehbar.
Bitte, Mozilla, kehrt zu euren Wurzeln zurück und besinnt euch auf das Motto "weniger ist mehr". Der aktuelle Zustand ist unerträglich. Ich hoffe, dass sich Firefox in Zukunft wieder verbessert und seinen Benutzern die Qualität und Leistung bietet, die sie erwarten.

Please, Mozilla, go back to your roots and "less is more". The current situation is unbearable. I hope Firefox continues to improve in the future and offer its users the quality and performance they expect.
