First things first ~ I love the Firefox browser and Mozilla's mission statement; "To ensure the Internet is a global public resource, open and accessible to all. An Internet that truly puts people first, where individuals can shape their own experience and are empowered, safe and independent." And it is for that reason that I'm taking time to express my concern/
The browser is very quickly becoming one the slowest browsers on the market. I can't be the only one experiencing this increased lag.
This question is directed directly to Mozilla Firefox;
What are you doing to improve on the browser speed?
And respectfully; please don't pitch to me the idea that it may be my computer performance. At whatever speed ones computer may be its clear to anyone that the Firefox browser it actively working hard to reach the slowest browser honors at this time. I'm well aware it can be a balance between building security vs speed.
I have two(2) other browsers on the ready and, unfortunately, I am force to switch to them as back up should my task at hand be time sensitive. And for the record it has been happening more and more often these days.
