I have been using Firefox as my main browser for a few years and always assumed that performance issues were mostly related to extensions, cache buildup, or browser configuration rather than the hardware itself.
Recently upgraded to the Viper Expeder D34C and honestly the difference in Firefox performance was more noticeable than I expected. Pages that used to take a moment to fully render now load almost instantly, tab switching feels immediate even with fifteen or more tabs open, and the browser has not crashed once since the upgrade which used to happen occasionally on my older machine during heavier sessions.
What surprised me most was how smoothly Firefox handles video heavy pages and embedded content now. Previously I assumed buffering and rendering delays were a network issue but on the Expeder D34C those delays have largely disappeared which suggests the processor and RAM combination plays a bigger role in browser experience than I had given it credit for.
I am curious whether others have had similar experiences after upgrading their computer hardware. Did Firefox performance improve noticeably or did you find the gains were more visible in other areas like video editing or multitasking rather than everyday browsing?
