Fed up with being nagged everytime I use this browser anymore.

As of the last year. Every single time I launch Firefox. Which is basically only when I reboot. I'm asked to check out a new feature. Or to PIN the app to my task bar.

If I want something out of your terrible browser, I WILL FIND OUT MYSELF. 

STOP NAGGING ME.

This is the most annoying new feature in version 149.0 64 bit on windows 10 pro.  It is really irritating to receive a message every time I start firefox that won't disappear unless OK is clicked or the ESC button is pressed.  Just as annoying is the "Try vertical tabs" feature.  Surely there should be a button that allows the user to state it should not be repeated?  Please fix.

Thanks @maciejewson - indeed it is.  Notifications were already blocked and I can't seem to find any setting for tips in settings on Windows (would be grateful if you could give me the steps). 

The only way out was to switch off smart tabs altogether in about:config which I believe is the exact opposite of what the developers intended when they introduced the helpful feature!  However, the helpful tips only become annoyances after some time, far more than the convenience tab grouping offerred so I had no alternative but to turn them off completely.
