Address bar ignores Ctrl+A (Select All) – Firefox 154.0b5 on Windows 11 25H1

Description:In the Firefox URL (address) bar, pressing Ctrl+A does not select all text. This breaks a universal keyboard shortcut and forces users to use the mouse or right‑click menu, reducing efficiency.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open Firefox 154.0b5 (64‑bit) on Windows 11 25H1.
  2. Click inside the address bar (or focus it with F6 / Alt+D).
  3. Press Ctrl+A on the keyboard.

Expected Result:The entire text in the address bar becomes selected (highlighted), as it does in most browsers and native Windows applications.

Actual Result:Nothing happens – the text remains unselected.

Environment

  • Firefox version: 154.0b5 (64‑bit) – Beta channel
  • Operating system: Windows 11 25H1 (build 26100.??? – please confirm)
  • Theme: Default (also occurs with other themes)
  • Extensions: Tested in safe mode – issue persists

Yes, I'm having the same issue as this. It seems to happen after the app has been in use for a short time.
I'm no longer able to use my cursor to highlight part or all of the content in the address bar in 154.0b5.
It's surprisingly irritating!
