Yes, thank you. I've exactly the same problem. I usually have a bunch of tabs open e.g. articles I like to read. And when I close the bottom tab, I've to wait for the overlay to disappear until I can access the then lowest tab to continue my reading ...
Just noticed - even Mozillas own Firefox for Android has an undo popup when you close a tab via swiping. And that is just closing a tab, not possibly deleting a very important mail.

Yes please, this should be the default for all swiping actions. Sometimes I accidentally trigger an action while scrolling or refreshing and don't even know what happened just now or what message from which mailbox was affected.
