@MattAuSupportyour solution did nothing for the Thunderbird scroll bar. 

It would be really helpful for the visually impaired to be able to widen the scroll bar.

Please fix the skinny scroll bar. My eyesight is failing and have enough trouble seeing without the added stress of the scroll bar.
