There are a couple places in Firefox Android that use Material Design 2. The most notable is the "new tab" FAB. These should be migrated to Material 3, as it would make it consistent with all other apps.

On Android, sites with only a favicon.ico don't have an icon in the tab bar. They should, like other sites do, and like they do on desktop.
