I've been using the "Undo Close Tab" extension to get this behavior back, but it's very frustrating that I have to use an extension to get this behavior back! And I can't find any way to bind the ctrl + shift + t shortcut to it, since it's a builtin ...
Still frustrated about this change. If I want to recover a tab I closed on one window, I don't want to have to reopen a bunch of other windows to get back to it (since I just have to close those windows again). And we already had ctrl+shift+n to reop...
I also would greatly appreciate the old functionality being an option. Being able to reopen previously closed tabs on a per-window basis, or separately reopen a closed window was much nicer.
