Import emails to Thunderbird Android

Thunderbird PC has an excellent add on to export emails to mbox Please could Thunderbird Android have a facility to import mbox (or any orher way to do this)?

Thunderbird Android does not allow the creation of local folders in the same way as can be done on Thunderbird PC. Please add this facility for pop3.
