Since the direct deletion of spam prevents such mails from contributing to the training of the spam filter via spam folder, I would like to expressly support this proposal.
You probably haven't discovered it yet, but you can even set a separate ringtone for each email account under Settings -> Accounts -> Account xy -> Notifications -> Ringtone.
