It's not good for me as a bottom bar user either. I have some very strong muscle memory about where for example the refresh button used to be, and now I just keep opening settings. I'd be willing to put up with relearning that... but the nav buttons ...
I'm willing to give this UI a chance. But I'm a bottom URL bar user, and so I want the navigation buttons to be at the bottom as well. It used to be very easy to refresh the page, now it is a much bigger movement.
Yes please. Being able to customize what does and doesn't appear like on desktop would be perfect. For example I do use reader mode, but never the home button. Being able to reclaim space from the features I don't need would be so good.
