When using Unified Inbox, the Message List does not indicate which email account. Some sort of color indication could show which email account the message is from.  Blue Mail Android does this very well and give the user to pick a color for each email account.

Please add account indicator in Message List when using unified inbox.

Thank you

Hi @maxmin10

The feature you mention is already present in Thunderbird for Android.

TBA shows a small coloured vertical bar identifying the account, prefixed on the first line of every message in unified Inbox. The color is assigned under settings > account name > general settings > account colour.

This feature exists. If you access "Account Settings" (e.g., right-click an email address/account, select "settings"), there should be a colour option next to the account name.

One thing I found initially confusing is that if I right-click a folder/account under "Unified Folders" in the left pane, such as the Unified Folders > Inbox > {[email protected]}, then select "Properties" a similar option to change the icon colour is available, but it only changes the icon colour and does not add any account colours to the unified mail lists.

I would argue that different accounts should have a different colour by default, as it took silly amounts of time to find out if this was possible and created a frustrating experience using the unified inbox.
