Many cyber criminals use newly created domains for their attacks. They are often detected fast so the just switch to the next. To accommodate I suggest a warning page, similar to the tls warnings, to warn for domains younger than a week or so, giving the user the option to accept the risk permanently and continue.

Doesn't this require a connection to a registrar to query for every domain visited? That's just a privacy nightmare waiting to happen because that effectively build a browsing profile. If this kind of feature makes it in, it needs to be opt-in and configurable (eg.: being able to choose among trusted registrars to query)

@luis123456789 You might be right. The idea doesn't sound as good as I initially thought and mechanism I can think of to get this kind of information are somehow problematic.

I could potentially some future for this if Mozilla or the Fediverse build their own Cross-Registrar book, since we could query those or use any of their implementations as a proxy. Alas, the public tends to be quite critical, even if justly so, when Mozilla starts a new project instead of improving the browser itself...

And yeah.. the privacy issues. Without any sort of proxy, or open record for when registrars start blocking or en**bleep**tifying queries, it's just not going to be viable.
