We have to paste the link constantly to change the icon of the shortcuts on the Firefox New Tab page, for convenience sake, please allow us to upload an image. I don't want to spend too much time turning an image into an image link.
Agent Virtual, thanks for the reply but you are missing the point.
It is not up to the user to add the correct icons on shortcuts, and certainly not by adding images to one's computer and applying powershell commands! LOL
They should be applied automatically. I find if I add the site to my bookmarks then the correct logo shows up some of the time, or I use Edit>Use Custom Image and append the website address with /favicon.ico which also works some of the time.
The point is why is Firefox requiring users to take up their time learning about this just to get the correct company logos to show up on shortcuts? If should be included in the code and done automatically.
Note: The Root Directory stores user profile data such as bookmarks, passwords, and preference settings. The Local Directory stores the disk cache and other temporary data.
