Translate in iOS

The fact that there is no way to translate automatically in iOS puts Firefox way behind Edge, Safari, and Chrome on the iOS platform. I was excited to switch to Firefox but this vital missing feature will keep me or anyone else who lives outside of the English speaking world from using Firefox as their mobile browser. Cutting the URL into google.translate.com is no substitute at all for the ability to translate from within the app.

It is 2025 and still no update for this functionality. I don't underestand why mozilla is keep ignoring this while it is holding back so many users to use firefox.

Can’t believe this is not implemented after all this years. Just like the rest of people, this is the only thing keeping me to set Mozilla as default browser instead of Chrome.

Moved Firefox desktop on my pc cause it has translation that doesn’t send to cloud, plus Mozilla seems like they are one of the good guys. Put the iOS app on. No translate. Now ditching both as I need translate no matter what and sync. Back to Brave which just got decent translate. Catch up Mozilla plz!

I too installed Firefox on my iPhone. It is s great experience.  But the lack of integrated translation sent me back to Safari, until i learn that translation is in FF.

For non-native English speakers, the ability to translate pages is critical.
