In Thunderbird Mobile email attachments, if any, are displayed at the bottom.

Now, if an email conversation goes on forever, it can take ages to scroll down to find the attachment, and therefore you run the risk of missing it.

Thank you for all the great work!

Please. Attachments need to be at the top. Thank you

I am forced to scroll to the bottom of emails in Thunderbird Android to access attachments, initially I was confused how to find the attachments at all.

Please make attachments accessible right after opening an email (for inspiration see how bluemail handles this).

+1 please, and smaller too, images attached are too big

Yes please, on the top or at least with a way to see them quickly (show attached files in menu?), and with smaller icons for images, they are too big right now imo

So that you don't have to scroll all the way down to the end of the email

Having the attachments at the bottom is confusing.  I would prefer the attachments to be at the top so that they're easier to see instead of hunting for them, particularly when you have a long e-mail thread...

Also, I noticed that attachments often don't open in the right program or the right program isn't available, such as in the case of WAV files where there is no option to play them from Thunderbird, but there is from other e-mail programs that I have and use.

When attachments are saved, I noticed that it sometimes adds irrelevant file extensions as well.  For instance, when I saved a .wav file from my e-mail, Thunderbird saved it as "filename.wav.pdf" for some strange reason.

The biggest issue I see with Thunderbird currently is the handling of attachments, which doesn't seem to work very well.

I hope attachments can get some love in an upcoming release, because I can't really use Thunderbird as my e-mail client on mobile until I am able to work with attachments.

Thanks and I love Thunderbird otherwise.

I haven't personally run into the issue of attachments opening in the wrong program, but I second that it's inconvenient to have the attachments at the bottom. I (literally) can't tell you how often I've just completely missed that emails have an attachment because I simply didn't see it. This isn't even on Mobile by the way; I run into this on desktop.

Adding my vote for moving attachments on mobile to the top, I repeatedly do not see if there are attachments in a thread and it is very annoying.

Maybe have a toggle in settings to do top/bottom?

Many thanks

Same request, please do, in long conversations it is very inconvenient to scroll all the way down to see the attachments

My mobile app won't even download messages with attachments. Not until I access the desktop can I view these emails

Hello,

I have been a long-time fan of Thunderbird on PC, and I’m very grateful for the release of the mobile version — I had been waiting for it eagerly. I also try to support the project with one-time donations whenever possible.

I have one request for the mobile client: could you please display attachments right after the email subject, instead of at the very end of the entire thread? In long conversations it takes a lot of scrolling to reach them. I would greatly appreciate this improvement.

Thank you very much for your work and for developing this amazing project!

Best regards,
Aleks
