Thunderbird - Click through multiple attachments

Individually previewing attachments when there are numerous ones gets clunk - it would be wonderful if multiple attachments could be clicked through like a slideshow or scrolled through without opening and closing multiple windows.

For OSX users, this could be done using QuickLook to have a preview of the attachments.
The Postbox "overlayer" nicely implements it.
