Hey Firefox Team,

Long-time Firefox user here with a simple idea to make mobile browsing faster.

The Problem:
Getting to bookmarks, history, or downloads takes too many taps. Open menu → scroll → find option → tap. It's slow, especially one-handed.

The Idea:
Let users swipe down on the three-dot menu to instantly show quick tools:
• Bookmarks
• History
• Downloads

Why This Helps:
- Way faster than opening full menu
- Easy to use with one hand
- Keeps the UI clean
- Works like gestures people already know

How It Works:
Swipe down on menu button → panel appears → tap to use or dismiss

I made a quick mockup (attached) to show what I mean. Think it could make Firefox mobile even better.

Let me know what you think!

Thanks

Having quick access to features you commonly use would be great, but those "commonly used features" probably differ from user to user. Being able to customize this quick access menu would be pretty important to me.
But then I thought: Why not just make the normal menu customizable? This way, you would also get quick access to your most used features without adding another menu.
I threw together a quick mockup how I would customize the menu and it already looks easier and quicker to use for my purposes.
